Due to rapidly increasing popularity with our website
and increasing demand on quick despatch time I decided
that the website needed to be rebuilt to improve our
service and reduce staff load leaving us more time
to supply a good customer service. Having worked with
Prime on smaller projects in the past we decided to
use them again for our rebuild. The service we received
was excellent and the turn around time was just as
good.
By discussing the day to day issues of our existing
website and infrastructure Prime helped us by recommending
ideas and services we simply could not have thought of.
The quality of the design was fantastic and we believe
it gives us a much more modern and professional look
in a very demanding market.
The end product was excellent and has seriously reduced
labour intensity allowing us to despatch customer products
in a minimal amount of time.
The major benefits of our project were:
- Order tracking system – This saved a significant
amount of time in the working day because the number
of calls we received relating to despatch of goods
dropped significantly.
- Orders Database and Invoicing system – One
of the most tedious parts of our job was printing address
labels and invoices. Now, in one click, we can print
an invoice and label on the same sheet of paper and
quickly check to see that the transaction was authorised
and matched correctly. This saves us over 4 hours a
day in staff time and also the need to print 2 separate
sheets of paper for every order. We also now have no
need to compare every order email to check that the
transaction was completed properly.
- Product Management – The control panel was
fantastic allowing us to add/edit and suspend products
at the touch of a button. Additional functionality
was also gained by enabling us to alter the price of
a specific range of products rather than doing each
product individually.
